Colts lackluster effort results in 10-8 loss to Brookfield

The Colts played a very lackluster effort, and former Colt (Mariner) Conner Beck knotched 4 goals to help lead the Brookfield Elks to a 10-8 win over the hometown Colts.
The Colts started the game scoring the first two and finished the first period with a 2-0 lead.
The Elks came out much hungrier in the second outscoring the Colts 4-2 in the middle frame to knot the the game as 4-4 heading into the 3rd.
Three quick goals by the Elks gave them an early 7-4 lead in the third, and the teams traded goals back and forth with the Elks eventually outscoring the Colts, and adding an empty netter to seal the win.
Floyd Mcdonald and Conner McDougall lead the Colts with a goal and two assists each.

The Colts are back on the ice tonight as they head to Liverpool to face the Privateers, looking to avenge a 5-0 loss they suffered to the Privateers last Friday evening.
