Colts drop decision to Blazers. Last home game is Rogers Hometown Hockey.
The Colts lost a hard fought decision to the division leading Sackville Blazers by a score of 3-2 on Friday night.
The Blazers Derek Nelson opened the score early in the first, but the Colts answered back with captain Josh Kalbhenn scoring a minute and a half later. The teams finished the first 1-1 with the Blazers holding the lead in shots 16-10.
The Second period saw no goals scored, and the teams went into the third deadlocked at 1.
The third period saw two quick Blazer goals, to take a commanding lead. Josh Rector brought the Colts within one, but they couldnt get the equilizer with the net empty.
