Tibert leads Colts to Game 1 win over Privateers!

Game one hat-trick leads Colts over Teers.
The Cole Harbour Colts have taken game one, of the best of three series versus the Liverpool Privateers in the opening of the NSJHL playoff mini-series. The Colts travelled to the Queen's Emerca Center in Liverpool and quieted the large crowd with Jacob Tibert leading the way for the Colts with a hat-trick.
Tibert opened the scoring with the only goal of the first period to finish the first with the Colts leading 1-0. He scored his second of the game midway in the second to put the Colts up 2-0. Liverpools Logan McLellan answered for the Teers next, but Brandon Beaulieu quickly replied to restore the 2 goal lead and send the Colts to the 2nd intermission with a 3-1 lead.
The Teers came out strong in the third, and quickly tied the game at 3, but Jordan Sollows scored the eventual game winner to put the Colts ahead for good. Tibert completed the hat-trick to make the final score 5-3.
The teams are back in action tomorrow night, at 8:15 PM at the Eastern Shore Community Center.
