September Game Results

SEPTEMBER 18 vs PICTOU COUNTY 

Colts with a big 3-0 road win Sunday night in Pictou County. Jacob Tibert and Kyle Pinksen both registered goals for the second straight game, while Jake Rector added his first of the season. Tibert, Josh Rector, Chris Densmore, Nick Monk and Ben Kelly each had assists, and Jonathan Prall shut the door, stopping all 36 shots for the shutout.

The Colts move to 2 and 0 to start the season, ahead of an exciting divisional match-up against the Liverpool Privateers, Friday, September 23rd. This match-up is sure to be filled with intensity as the teams meet for the first time since the Colts won game 3 in Liverpool, to clinch the playoff mini-series last spring. Game time is 7:30pm at Cole Harbour Place.

SEPTEMBER 16 HOME OPENER vs GLACE BAY

Great start to the 2016-17 NSJHL season for the Cole Harbour Junior Colts last night. Looking sharp in the new colours, the Colts honoured our late Friend and teammate Paul Head before opening the season at Cole Harbour Place.

Rookie Kyle Pinksen lead the way in scoring for the Colts with 2 Goals and 2 Assists. Co-Captains Josh Rector (3 assists) and Brett Armstrong (1 goal, 3 assists), as well as Assistant Captains Jacob Tibert (2 goals, 1 assist) and Jeffrey Withers (1 goal), and rookie Chris Densmore (2 assists) also found themselves on the score sheet, while Jonathan Prall stood tall in goal as the Colts defeated last year's Sid Rowe Champion Glace Bay Junior Miners by a score of 6-3.
